‘Lamba’, Men’s Ceremonial Headdress Ornament

Lamba are ornaments worn on the front of a ceremonial headdress as are part of the ritual costume worn by the royal men of East Sumba, Indonesia. Reminiscent of water buffalo horns, they are often decorated with creature motifs or scenes. This one features 2 scorpions.
