Refund policy

At the David Alan Collection, every piece we offer has been personally selected for its beauty, soul, and craftsmanship. We want you to be as happy with your purchase as we were when we first discovered it.

7-Day Full Refund

If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of receiving your item. The piece must be returned in the same condition it arrived — undamaged, with any original packaging and documentation. Please contact us to initiate a return before shipping anything back.

30-Day Store Credit

Between 8 and 30 days after receiving your item, we're happy to offer store credit for the full purchase amount. The same condition requirements apply.

Condition & Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or store credit, your item must be in the same condition in which it was received. Please inspect your piece carefully upon delivery and contact us immediately if anything appears damaged, defective, or not as described — we'll work with you to make it right.

Custom & Commissioned Pieces

Custom orders, commissioned work, and personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned. We'll make sure expectations are clear before any custom project begins.

How to Start a Return

Contact us directly — we prefer a conversation over a form. Give us a call at 858.481.8044 or email davidalancollection@gmail.com and we'll walk you through the process. Items sent back without prior arrangement cannot be accepted.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of approval. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
