David Alan designs all our one-of-a-kind creations. In this one, the wood is used to give depth to the scene. Inspired by a photo I took in Arches National Park, Utah.
Our carving studio was a dream that took years of development to realize. We sought out master carvers willing to think beyond their traditional motifs and spent hundreds of hours gathering an inventory of exceptional materials. With this foundation, the often months long creation process for each piece begins. As much thought goes into selecting the perfect piece of wood that will enhance a particular design, as goes into to sketching the design to be expertly carved.
