Wearable Happi Coat, constructed of stone washed canvas and hand painted 19th Thai Buddhist fabric.
In the past few years one of David's passions has been incorporating ancient textiles into wearable contemporary clothing.
The pattern for this jacket was inspired by the old Japanese happi coats that are traditionally worn during summer festivals, over street clothes.
And the recycled patches come from 19th century Thai Buddhist religious paintings that were originally done on cotton.
Hand made one of a kind item, size fits most.
